Unless noted in the product description on the product page, all of our pottery is food safe and made with certified food safe, lead free glazes.
Items can be placed in the dishwasher and microwave (unless indicated). That said, they are handcrafted and should be handled with care. Every now and then we recommend cleaning with Bar Keeper's Friend (and a little elbow grease). This will remove or minimize any stains or marks or wear or tear.
Allow for gradual temperature change as pottery can crack or break if transferred from the freezer to the oven.
While we work hard to ensure our pieces are uniform and consistent (if intended), that said, they are handmade and may vary slightly. We hope you embrace the handcrafted elements.
Please note the oatmeal matte glazes shows more wear and tear than the satin glazes due to the matte finish.
We accept all major credit cards and offer gift cards (as well as ETSY gift cards through our ETSY shop).
If you are not happy with your online or in-store purchase, we accept returns for refund or store credit within 10 days. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the original packaging and in the same condition that you received it. CLAY + CRAFT is not responsible for any damage or loss that occurs when return shipping, so we strongly encourage you to pack the items well and insure and ship Priority with USPS. Once received, we will then provide store credit or issue the refund.
All sales are FINAL on seconds, custom work and sale items. Please note, shipping charges are non-refundable.
All orders are insured and shipped USPS Priority Mail. Please allow 1-3 business days for us to process and fulfill your order after the date in which it is placed. Once your order is fulfilled, it will take approximately 2-3 business days to be delivered based on the destination.
At this time we do NOT ship internationally.
All of our packaging is 100% recyclable. We use eco friendly packing paper and biodigradeable packing peanuts. Occasionally, we may use recycled cardboard boxes to fulfill orders to help reduce handling fees and of course, recycle =).

In the event that your item arrived broken or damaged due to shipping, please send us an email with a picture (USPS requires a picture in order to file a claim in an attempt to recoup the loss) of the damaged product. We will issue a refund or send a replacement.
