Much like the recipes that are handed down for generations to come, these minimalist inspired, versatile bowl/plate combos, also known as BlatesTM, will become family heirlooms. These pieces feel ceremonial, forcing you to gather with love ones, slow down and create daily rituals amongst the chaos of life.
This collection has been designed with the minimalist in mind. The Blate; a simple, useful tried and tested balance of a bowl and a plate serves just about every purpose from a serving dish, dinner plate, salad dish, soup bowl, bread plate or dessert dish.
By letting the clay go where it wants to go, we hand create an organic shape that beautifully compliments the natural brown clay. It’s then completed on the pottery wheel for a refined and consistent size and design. The inside of each bowl is finished with our Signature Blend glaze with the rim and outside left raw to create an earthy, warm and artisanal look.
Dishwasher and microwave safe, each piece is durable for everyday use yet adds an authentic and artistic touch to entertaining or everyday dining.
