CREATIVE PROJECTS
Choose from ceramics, block printing, watercolor, flower making, jewelry projects or we can curate a custom project. Each curated project utilizes natural materials and are intended to be equally useful as enjoyable to make.
We provide all the required materials, tools, examples, inspiration, instruction and support. Creative experiences can be facilitated as a traditional style workshop or executed as a make and take experience to compliment any event.

CERAMICS HANDBUILDING
Receive clay, tools, inspiration and instruction to create a hand built mug, vase, bowl or whatever the heart desires. The session will begin with a step by step demonstration and introduce templates, slip and scoring techniques, design and clay accents. Each piece will be fired, glazed and delivered in 2-3 weeks. If shipping is needed, additional fees apply. $60.00 per participant.

POTTERY MUG PAINTING + GLAZING
This is not your average pottery painting experience. Following a demonstration on glazing materials and techniques, participants receive a modern mug and a selection of the latest glazes including underglaze and cone 5/6 textural finishes to achieve a true artisanal piece that will become part of their morning ritual. Each piece will be fired and delivered in two weeks. If shipping is needed, additional fees apply. $45.00 per participant.

BLOCK PRINTING
The workshop begins with an overview of the steps to block printing as well as techniques, examples and inspiration. Then, design and hand carve stamp(s), select ink colors and use the stamp(s) to print designs on a choice of note cards or tote bag. $50.00 per participant.

MAKE YOUR OWN WATERCOLOR PAINT SET
Receive a handcrafted ceramic watercolor pallet made by CLAY + CRAFT owner / artist, Nicole Novena and a variety of earth based, natural pigments to mix and blend custom colors to create a clay based watercolor paint set. While the pallets dry, using provided watercolor pods, paint California-inspired illustrations.
Participants take home their pallet with a canvas case to complete their newly created travel paint set. $65.00 per participant.

Difficulty Level: Beginner - Intermediate
WATERCOLOR PAINTING
During this no-stress, calming workshop, receive clay based watercolors created from a variety of earth based, natural pigments made by CLAY + CRAFT. Participants receive three California-inspired illustrations printed on artisanal watercolor paper and one blank sheet for those ready to let their creativity flow. This workshop is as close to mess free as you can get. It’s incredibly turnkey, providing an effortless yet creative component to any occasion. $35.00 per participant.

FOREVER FLOWER BOUQUET
Learn to curate a forever flower bouquet that captures the spirit of California. Using artisan crepe paper, floral wire, wildflower patterns and shaping techniques participants will create realistic half dozen flowers that spark joy and stay beautiful season after season. $50.00 per participant.

JEWELRY MAKING - LEATHER BRACELET + FEATHER EARRINGS
Create a modern style bracelet using a selection of leather cords, adhesive, tube beads and an optional coastal inspired charms. The unisex design appeals to all.
Or, craft a pair of feather earrings—cut, layer, and combine unique feathers to create a one-of-a-kind, flowy design. Finished with 14k gold-plated, hypoallergenic hooks. This project is where fashion meets art.
This is a simple and easy beginner project that’s perfect for the most reluctant maker. $30.00 per participant.

ADDITIONAL WORKSHOP INFORMATION:
Our team arrives an hour early to set up. We will need at least a half hour following the workshop to clean up and leave your space as it was when we started.
The ideal workspace for each participant is a flat table space that is approximately 25”x25”.
A restroom or water source in a close proximity to the workshop is ideal to allow participants to wash hands if/when needed.
Workshops require a $500 minimum or 20 person participant requirement.
